New passport or visa photo-ARIFIN

My name is Bustanul Arifin, born in 1963 in Bangkalan, Madura-Indonesia.  Currently I am Professor of Agricultural Economics at the University of Lampung (UNILA), Senior Economist at the Institute for Development of Economics and Finance (INDEF), Jakarta and Professorial Fellow in the School of Business at Bogor Agricultural University (SB-IPB), Indonesia.  My fields of expertise include food and agricultural sector policy, institutional change, and sustainable development strategy.  I obtained a PhD degree in resource economics from Nelson Institute at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (USA) in 1995 and a Sarjana (Bachelor) degree in agricultural economics from IPB-Bogor in 1985.  I have completed assignments as visiting scholar in the School of Geosciences at the University of Sydney (ALA Fellow, 2007-2008) and in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (Fulbright Fellow, 2002-2003).  In professional organizations, I am serving as Executive Council of the Asian Society of Agricultural Economists (ASAE), Indonesian Society of Agricultural Economics (PERHEPI) and Indonesian Economist Association (ISEI), all for the second terms. In civil services, I am appointed as Chairman of Forum of Statistical Society (FMS), Food Policy Adviser for Coordinating Minister of  Economic Affairs, and Member of National Commission on Agricultural Extension (KPPN).  In the previous government, I have served as Chairman of Expert Group of Food Security Council (DKP), Adviser for the National Team of the International Trade Negotiation, and Member of National Innovation Council (KIN) in the Office of the President.
